The P84 tray family comprises in this moment 10 base models. These are the result of a long development process adapting the concept to the different demands in the logistic chain, market of destination and specific requirements of the product. The product protection during transportation is the most important task for our packaging, however, correct cooling and ventilation are as well very important to assure the arrival of produce without damages. In the final destination the tray has to fulfil as well marketing and propaganda functions for the grower or supermarket and the product. The requirements for the tray depend on the logistic chain and characteristics of the product. Therefore we have a wide range of trays to choose from when looking for the right tray for a certain produce product.

Sandwich effect
A completely folded over short-end wall, with part of the board folded so as to form stacking columns in each inside corner.
A triangular corner construction further strengthens the effect and increases the bending stiffness.

The middle section of the ledge has been folded down and glued to the inside end-panel.
The tray is designed to facilitate the use of layers or nespak. The partial inside third thickness in the sandwich parts of the side walls are eliminated.
Totally open construction ensures a perfect integration in packaging.

P84 mixers allow interstacking of all 3 modular dimensions (600x400, 400x300, 300x200) in all sequences.
The concept specifies footprint dimensions and interstacking features for corrugated produce trays to facilitate efficient loading, handling, storage and transport of produce on pallets and in cages.
